ABOUT US:

After years of working in corporate America, Lisa & Charlie Hudson desired to have a business of their own, where they could earn a decent living to provide for their family, and do something positive within the community. Charlie's work experience in management, warehousing and transportation, and Lisa's experience in bookkeeping, supervision and customer service primed them for what is now known as C&L Recycling, Inc.

Not only are Charlie and Lisa recycling for their family and for the environment, but this business seemed to present an ideal way to give back to the community. Schools and churches may use C&L for fundraisers by collecting shoes. C&L will pay for new and used shoes by the pound, and provide the bags for collecting them! Banks and local businesses can sponsor free shredding days, in addition to allowing us to provide a dependable shredding service at a very competitive rate.

C&L Recycling, Inc. is proud to be a part of the Clarksville community and looks forward to being a part of the annual Rivers & Spires celebration in downtown Clarksville. You can find the C&L Recycling booth in the ‘Green Zone’, behind the First United Methodist Church on Madison Street. Check the community calendar for exact dates and more information.

C&L is also a part of ‘Greenday Clarksville’, in celebration of Earth Day, to be held at Governor’s Square Mall in Clarksville, April 22nd. We encourage everyone to come out and participate as local businesses will be at the mall, providing recycling information and ideas. C&L will also be there to shred documents on site, answer questions and possibly have some fun ‘freebies’ to give away.

C&L is the only official drop off location in Clarksville for Soles4Souls, an organization that distributes gently used and new shoes to those in need in countries all over the world. Recently, C&L and Soles4Souls were partners in sponsoring "Soles4Souls 4 Jesse Knowles", where monetary donations were given with each pair of shoes donated to help with expenses for Jesse Knowles, a young man who in January 2009, was diagnosed with a very rare form of brain cancer. He spent months undergoing intense treatments and has come through his fight with flying colors.
